為探討胃腸外營養(yǎng)(TPN)添加精氨酸(Arg)對胃癌術(shù)后患者淋巴細胞免疫功能的影響及意義，對36例胃癌術(shù)后患者進行了TPN支持的前瞻性研究，檢測常規(guī)TPN和TPN添加Arg支持前后患者的T淋巴細胞亞群、NK細胞活性、IL-2和CD25水平變化。結(jié)果：常規(guī)TPN支持前后患者的T淋巴細胞亞群、NK細胞活性、IL-2和CD25水平變化無明顯差異，而TPN添加Arg支持后患者的CD4、CD4/CD8比值、NK細胞活性和IL-2水平均明顯增加(Ｐ＜0.05)。本研究結(jié)果顯示：常規(guī)TPN不能糾正胃癌術(shù)后患者的淋巴細胞免疫功能抑制，但TPN添加Arg則可促進IL-2生成增加，NK細胞活性增強，改善了胃癌術(shù)后患者的淋巴細胞免疫功能，提示TPN添加Arg有免疫促進作用。
